Julie Grundman, Johnnie Kaberle, and Emilian Papadopoulos join PSA’s Board of Directors

Partnership for a Secure America (PSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Grundman, Johnnie Kaberle, and Emilian Papadopoulos to our Board of Directors. Their collective expertise in cybersecurity, national security, and corporate governance will strengthen the Board’s vision, and their insights will not only deepen our understanding of pressing issues but also inform the framework of our bipartisan initiatives.

Julie Grundman joins the Board with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of cybersecurity law, policy, risk, and growth. Julie currently serves as a Senior Vice President at Beacon Global Strategies focusing on cybersecurity risk, strategy, and compliance, and advising technology companies on federal growth strategies. Previously, Julie led the cybersecurity in Mergers and Acquisitions team at a global consulting firm, advised companies on strategies for navigating global legal, regulatory, and compliance issues involving cybersecurity and privacy at a top law firm, led cybersecurity policy and engagement at a non-profit advisory group, and managed early customer engagements and strategic alliances at a cybersecurity startup.
Johnnie Kaberle currently serves as Senior Vice President at WestExec Advisors and formerly held the role of Staff Director for the U.S. House of Representatives Defense Appropriations Subcommittee. Her policy leadership and operational acumen have shaped defense budgets and advanced bipartisan security priorities at the highest levels of the U.S. government. This breadth of experience combined with her 30 years on Capitol Hill has given Johnnie a comprehensive understanding of the political landscape, legislative process, and policy development, and her contributions to national security and government service have been honored with some of the highest civilian awards.
Emilian Papadopoulos is the president of Good Harbor and has over 15 years of experience advising Boards, C-Suite teams, and government leaders on managing cyber security and emerging technology risk. He is a Board member of RedSeal, a network security company, and an advisor to the non-profit National Technology Security Coalition. He taught cyber security for five years at Georgetown University. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and of the Harvard Kennedy School, where he served as elected chair of the global Alumni Board.
With decades of experience, these three professionals bring a wealth of valuable expertise to PSA. Their expertise will significantly contribute to our operations and our mission of fostering informed decision-making and collaboration across the political spectrum.
