On June 23, 2009, PSA Executive Director Matthew Rojansky lectured at the World Affairs Council DC's 2009 Summer Institute on International Affairs for High School Educators. He gave a talk on international nuclear nonproliferation institutions to a group of high school educators to help them teach these important issues effectively.
Matt focused on the institutions that work to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons, such as the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and the International Atomic Energy Association. He also discussed the history of nuclear proliferation, including non-signatories to the NPT. Finally, Matt addressed current proliferation threats such as Iran and North Korea, and he discussed the future of the nonproliferation regime. |
